Who stays in the hostel?
The residents of MatchBox@100UluPandan are mainly students who are currently studying at nearby education institutions such as Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and more.
What is the hostel’s curfew?
There is no strict hostel curfew as the hostel is accessible 24 hours due to the secured gantry points which only allows residents to enter the sleeping quarters. However, we have a low noise period from 11pm to 8am for all residents.
Do I need to make a reservation to stay at the hostel?
Prior registration is preferred to ensure that rooms are reserved. Immediate registration is also possible as long as there is available bed. Students who are below 18 years old require a parent or guardian to sign the acknowledgement form during registration.
What are the age criteria to be able to stay in the hostel?
Students with valid student passes that are below 30 years old.
What are the rules within the hostel?
Our house rules are mainly geared towards the hostel in having a clean, safe and harmonious living environment for all the residents here.
What is a Single room?
A single room is a room that the student will stay in alone.
What is a Twin Superior room?
A Twin Superior room is a room that is shared by two. You may choose to stay with your friend, subject to availability.
What is a Quad room?
A Quad room is a room that is shared by four. You may choose to stay with your friends, subject to availability.
What is a Villa?
A villa is a studio room that comes with an attached bathroom and kitchenette. Villa Singles are meant for single person occupancy, and are furnished with queen-sized beds. Villa twins can be shared by 2 persons, and are furnished with 2 single beds. All villa rooms are fully equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, microwave oven as well as an induction cooker, for that exclusive living environment.
Are toilets/bathrooms shared or private?
Except for the Villas, all toilets/bathrooms are shared, with sufficient facilities on every level.
How much will it cost to have Wi-Fi in the room?
Free Wi-Fi are available in all common areas and rooms within the hostel’s premises.
Can I cook in the hostel?
Yes. Light cooking is ONLY allowed in the pantry where cooking equipment are provided for the convenience of the residents.
Can I stay at MatchBox@100UluPandan hostel if I am enrolled in private educational institutions?
Yes, you can.
What kind of documents should I provide in order for registration with MatchBox@100UluPandan hostel?
You are required to provide a copy of each of the following:
1. Passport of student
2. Valid student pass
How much do I need to pay during registration / check-in?
Reservation Fee/Security Deposit: 1 Month Rental per bed or per room upon confirmation
Registration Fee: $107 (Inclusive of GST) upon check-in
Full rental payment to be made upon check-in (Amount depends on duration of stay)
Instalment plan available subject to additional surcharge

Can I view MatchBox@100UluPandan hostels before I confirm my booking?
Yes. You may contact us to arrange a viewing, during the following hours:
9am to 7pm Mondays to Fridays (except Singapore Public Holiday)
12pm to 6pm Saturdays
We are closed on Sundays and Singapore Public Holidays

How can I pay for bookings/reservations (in Singapore) or monthly rental?
Payments can be made at our Admin Office located at Block 3 or via bank transfer / remittance. Our bank details will be indicated on our invoice to you.
Can I cancel my booking/reservation?
Yes. Cancellation is allowed.
There will be no refund if cancellation is made less than 31 days before the date of check-in.
100% refund to student if cancellation is made 31 days and above before the date of check-in.
Can I amend my booking/reservation?
Yes. You may amend your booking/reservation, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Management and on a case to case basis.
Can I change unit during my stay?
It will be on a case to case basis and at the sole discretion of the Management. An administration fee of $214.00(inclusive of 7% GST) will apply.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, you can, subject to availability. Please proceed to our Admin Office located at Block 3 for the extension.
What are the payment options available?
We accept AliPay, Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard/JCB/UnionPay), NETS and interbank transfer/remittance.
